Magpupungko Rock pools is one of the best tourist spot of Siargao Island.

Things to know about    

      It is a natural fascinating sea water pool and best during low tide. The area is protected with the rock formations that makes big and breath-taking crystal clear swimming pool. Right in front of it is a strong big waves  from the pacific ocean that is been safely trapped.

          This place is called “Magpupungko” Rock pools ( pungko- a local term of squat or sitting down) because of its amazing gigantic rock that is like squatting on each other. It is really wonderful how God made them all.

What we can try?

          You can do some activities like extreme cliff diving – from the top of the big rock, snorkeling, picnic,take groupie/ selfies and chill with friends.

          There you need to pay also for entrance Fee 50 php per person. Inside have number of cottages, shower rooms and stores that you can buy foods, you can also bring your own baon. Usually people visit there for spend time from 11am till lunch and go home in the afternoon.

          Located in Pilar the north part of Siargao Island. Getting there would take on about 2 hour riding on a habal habal from General Luna cloud 9– the main surfing destination of Siargao.
